The last time the Jets drafted a WR in the 1st Round was Santana Moss in 2001...almost 20 years ago. You do not adequately rebuild a position by completely neglecting it for two decades. Antonio Brown and Amari Cooper have come and gone and the Jets had little interest in either. So if you do not draft a top notch receiver at #1 and do not sign them when they become available, how do you expect to land one? Let's face it, a guy like Chrebet will only fall in your lap once in a lifetime - if you're lucky. Poor Sam.
Considering only 3 of the top 10 WRs. were drafted in the 1st round ,I’d say you can expect to land one just about anywhere. The trick is to have a good qb.
Why would you possibly want to bring in any of those 3 bums? Considering where they were drafted, both Doctson and Treadwell are pretty much busts or near-busts. Pryor did nothing for us last year before being released.
