Look @ Peytons #s, how many elite performamces over his first 4 years? Ill give you a hint, the answers 2, and Peytons possibly the all time greatest
he has plenty of "elite" performances, you are just throwing them out b/c the fantasy #s weren't good enough for you.
Brady's game against the Phins this year in the opener is a perfect example of an "elite" performance. 32/48, 66.7%, 517 yards, 10.7 YPA, 4 TD's, 1 INT, 121.6 rating
Sanchez has won 4 playoff games ON THE ROAD and played OK/Good/Great in all of them. How many road playoff games have your Dolphins won in the last 10 years ? Last 20 years ? Last 30 years, including Dan Marino ???? Just answer the question. We know Sanchez is the worst QB in the league during the regular season, but since we made the playoffs 2 out of 3 years anyway with a white Jamarcus Russell, please tell us how he stacks up to Danny Boy in road playoff games ????
yep, it was a great performance but you don't need to throw for 300,400,500 yds to have a great performance. Again, Sanchez's performance at NE in the div rd was more impressive based on the circumstances of the game.
With the playoffs on the line this year, how did Sanchez play down the stretch in the final 3 games? Playoff games 2 years ago mean nothing.
I am beginning to think some Jet fans have no fucking clue. Seriously, how hard is to fucking understand that when Sanchez plays well it is because the defense and running game carry the load and allow the OC to very selective when they let Sanchez throw the ball. When one or both of those things dont work, Sanchez is as fucking useful as an umbrella is to a fish. Babbling about the playoff games just shows people have no clue what happened in those games. Sanchez didnt win jack shit. The defense and running game did. When the running game (Greene getting hurt) and defense failed in Indy, and boy wonder was asked to win it, what happened? Oh, thats right, he shit himself. When the defense failed in Pitt, what happened? Oh yeah, boy wonder fumbled for 6 putting his team in an almost insurmountable hole. This noise about Sanchez winning playoff games is as big of a farce as his touchdown total this year. Both imply that we have a good qb when the qb is a piece of trash. We have a Prius when we need fucking Bentley. And when the Bentley is out there, these same idiots are clamoring for us to give the Prius another shot.
Well then, let's compare apples to apples... how many "elite" performances did he have in that span according to YOUR definition?
Poorly, as did the rest of the team but 2 is better than 3 and I'll take 2 good postseasons over one failure down the stretch.
The difference is we know you don't have a clue. You expected a rookie QB on the road to setp up and carry us in the '09 title game? In 2010 he got us back in the game and gave us a chance, if the D didn't allow Pitt to doominate the 1st half we would have won that game.
Psst, we don't care about the Pats. Just saying... It's almost to a point where you have to wonder. lol.
The Vikings might be looking to deal the #3 pick, but they have a QB. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=70664 Maybe they'd take Holmes and our first? I'm not really sold on RG3, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jets move up.
Heres the bottom line. Sanchez playing good in 6 games out of 54 in his career is more proof he sucks. Are you satisfied with a qb who doesn't show up in more then 85% of the games? How can you win> To defend Sanchez you guys are bringing up games he played ok(not even great). Why is no one ever bringing up the games he played like dogshit huh? I bet every qb who got kicked out of the league in 4-5 years has his glory moments also. But sooner or later his team realized he was not a Nfl Qb. Winning playoff games don't mean shit, crappy qbs have done it before. Ask Trent Dilfer and Tim Tebow.
