Carolina is on the hook for the upfront money and cap hit. I think his post trade hit is around $11mil per year. That's not terrible.
I just checked and it might even be less….. Who says no? CMC (very low cap hit for new team)+ #9 + Darnold + 2023 1st for Watson
It is pretty damn pricey. I am less interested in trading for Cooper than for Bradberry TBH, but I’m fine using all draft picks in the draft as well.
No… not sure why you think that. We don’t have CMC, pick 6 (not 9, my bad), or Darnold. I’m suggesting that could be a trade that makes sense for both the Texans and the Panthers
if we could land cooper as a FA it would help a lot but i doubt it. as of now i'm thinking we add chark for the 12ish a year, then draft 2 Wrs in rounds 2-4. use the 2 1sts for defense with a trade back unless the stars align and KT is there at 4 and hamilton at 10 that would be amazing and also use a 2nd or 3rd for a TE plus add a LBer and a late CB. maybe try and trade back in the late round like our 5th for a 6th and 7th and grab horvath at FB and maybe a kicker in the 7th
I’d like to get London at 10 and then trade back with one of the 2nds. If Washington is willing to go up to 4, I’d go for that as well.
