Would you trade 6 and Vilma to get Dorsey?

You have to realize we Jet fans honestly think other teams are stupid enough to be fleeced by our Fantasy Trade proposals and that other coaches or Gm's like Parcells will be dumb enough to trade for a player coming off injury who is not built for the 3-4. It is quite refreshing to have someone who is a NYJ rival post an email to bring us back to reality from time to time. Great Post!

    Draft

The Jets have so many needs, I'm hoping they trade down and take more draft choices with their position. They need: OL, DL, LB, CB, WR, and TE. (and more, since Manweenie put out punter on the block!)

So... why the heck would they pull yet another stupid move by moving UP in the draft. (Yes, we got TWO good players last year but now it looks stupid--with all the holes we got--as the Herm/Bradway move for a kicker in the second round a few years ago...)

Do you really think we are one or two players away from contention?

Or that we have a lot of depth?

And that we can sit back in this year's draft and just take a few players for a few specific needs?

I want Tangini fired if they can't fix this mess. They inherited a playoff team. For the first time ever, under Herm Edwards, the Jets made the playoffs for a few years in a row. I do not want to see that traded for some boring idiot (Manweenie) who sits there in one press conference after another with no clue as to why his football team is one of the worst in the NFL...

I think Tangini need to be put on notice!

For a Mario Williams type I would. Not for Dorsey. The NT in a 3-4 has to be good. But he is essentially cannon fodder. The pass rush comes from the outside. And the Jets need pass rush.

I can see that happening though... Dorsey would have to play end in tunas 3-4.. ( He is going to make that the base defense right ? )

The number one selection is going to be kind of high to draft a guy to play a position hes probably not familiar with..

If we trade to number one we take mcfadden straight up...

I really hope we take one of these junior running backs though.... If stewart drops I hope we take him...

:drunk:haynesworth would be an idiot to sign with a team that plans to make him a 3-4 nose tackle, no matter how much money they offer. he can make almost as much being a 4-3 tackle , instead of cannon-fodder who's only task is to keep blockers off the lbs.

Why the hell would we trade for a DT who doesn't fit our scheme?
