It's really fucking annoying how everyone wants Matt Flynn because of ONE FUCKING GAME. He, like Rodgers, is a product of the system in Green Bay

Thank you. Browning Neagle was amazing after his first start.

    ANd

Lions+outdoor road game+snow+ have to play defense = hammered shit.

But IMO there are some young QB's out there better then what we got.

No, what happens if Matt Flynn does not have it? If we sign him to be a starter, we have to give him starter money like some other team will and that leaves us less to fix other problems. If he doesn't work our backup plan is nothing with a team worse off than now. If we sign Flynn/ another qb to compete with Sanchez, we would be better off in the long run. Flynn could become a great qb, but it is very short sighted to throw everything at him.

You make a good point but Matt Flynn made himself a lot of money yesterday. He played very well against the Patriots the year before too so it's more than just one game, albeit only one more.

Maybe he's a product of really good coaching, which certainly isn't a bad thing. I'd love to see him brought into compete with Sanchez for the #1 job, but someone will pay him starter money so it's probably not an option. Sanchez needs a real threat at #2 QB at this point in his career IMO.

    Competition is a GOOD thing.

You don't bring in a guy like Matt Flynn for competition. He's gonna get 8+ million a year

I said it probably won't be an option because someone will pay him starter money.

I was bout to post the same thing man

ppl acting like Flynn not gonna be hard garbage next year, GB is smart showcasing him against subpar players and maybe get something good in a trade.

And I'm not sold on Rodgers either, everybody looks good in that GB system. I think he would just be above average if he played here

    He's a free agent right?

    Can they franchise him?

    I doubt they'd franchise a backup QB.

Matt Flynn wasn't good in just this one game. He started for a stretch of games last year when Rodgers was injured, and he always looked good. They nearly beat the patriots with him last year.

That's somebody you would franchise, he's not gonna sign the thing knowing the Packers are looking to trade him

That is what the Pats did with Cassell isn't it? I don't know why he would be so opposed to making franchise QB money, unless he thinks he'll get bigger guaranteed money elsewhere. Maybe he will.

I bring in Matt Moore before I bring in Matt Flynn. Moore is a decent NFL QB who can make all the throws unlike our "5 yard flamethrower" Sanchez.

Flynn has the best offensive weapons and system in the league around him. Moore plays for a franchise in disarray. Moore showed me a lot this season with little help around him.

We gave up 9 points to the Packers last season. Put up a big fat 0.

Sanchez will be the starter in 2012
