Clemens lost the game for the Jets on the three plays he was in the game. If he can't hold a simple snap from center, how to you expect him to protect the ball and move the team for an entire game.

    Absolutely true... almost.

Clemens fucked up the first two FG attempts by first, bobbling the snap and then the second one, when he didn't hold the ball properly straight. The third one was all on Dearth and his horribly high snap. Kellen actually did a good job getting the ball down instead of it sailing over his head into Feely's arms.

You can't blame the kicker for any of those fucked up FG attempts. Nor can you blame the loss on the QB. I'm suprised some retards here can't see it. Sanchez was not great, but he played well enough to win.

And some people are saying, that we lost because Sanchez's QB rating was sub-50.0...

You mean just like Bill Polian and the Colts did with Peyton Manning? And the same with Eli and the Giants? And don't forget SF benching golden boy Joe Montana. We should definitely let Dirty 6 ride the pine and he'll develop well - just like Clemens did.

    Great post...

    YOU FAIL!!!

Clemens would have looked dumb and failed.

IF Rex wanted to win on Sunday ...and Sundays game was the most important game of the season.....Clemens would be starting NOT our INT machine......reminds me of Mangini and playing Farve last 3 games with a torn bicep rather than clemens....WTF are the guys thinking????

Clemens was able to protect the ball because our running game was working. Our running game wasn't working great against Atlanta so we were forced to pass. How many times did Clemens have to throw the ball 15 yards over a receivers head to make you realize that he isn't the answer?

And also, rooting for an injury to our 23 year old franchise quarterback. You are an absolute idiot.

These hypothetical polls just have no reason to them. How the fuck would we know if Clemens had started what would have happened. It is all guesswork, he may have screwed up worse. Or thrown three TDs. There is no point to this.

Regardless of who is starting, we are getting nothing out of the QB position right now and that is why we are losing some of these close games. Clemens has shown that he is not an NFL QB. The jury is out on Sanchez and one would hope that the game will slow down for him next year.

    Simple answer is NO-

He would not have hit Braylon on that TD, or converted those 3rd and longs, like the ones to Braylon and Dustin.

Clemens is doing a fine job at holding the clipboard and sending in plays

Clemens couldn't even hold the ball for Feely, and you expect him to play Quaterback. FUCK THAT!

Clemens did a good job of picking his nose and eating it. He needs to start at once.

As annoyed as I have been with Dirty Dirty, Kellen Clemens absolutely sucks. I rather see Ainge because he probably can't do any worse than what we have seen from our QBs this year. Keep Sanchez in let him ride it out.

I never got the feeling that Clemens was "protecting the ball" better when he started. Yes, he threw no INT's but a lot of his passes were sailing into the upper deck out of the reach of everyone. I think the idea that he would somehow protect the ball better is silly. His accuracy is terrible.

Sanchez didn't have a good game, but he drove us down the field into scoring position 3 more times than we actually scored.

Would Clemens have hit Edwards for the bomb or would it have landed in 3rd row?

Come on, Man! Clemens has finally proven that his potential has gone away. He barely shows the skills to be a good back up. I supported the guy until Tampa. He didn't show what he needed to show to gain my support. From here on out, it should be Ainge getting the back-up snaps. I know the CS will still give the ball to KC in this instance, but it should be Ainge's gig.

I wouldn't mind seeing what Ainge had in him in a backup role.
