Would anybody be opposed to going after Brian Orakpo in the offseason?

I believe 2014 FA and the draft switch.

So teams will be able to draft needs and supplement with FA.

So, it seems the Jets will fill their offensive needs in the draft and could use their big money on a pass rusher.

I'm violently opposed to spending big bucks on any free agent IF IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM will hamper our ability to retain the core young talent for the long run. Mo, Coples, Sheldon, Davis, and so on.

We must continue to build thru the draft and protect at all costs the idiotic strategy from previous regimes of mortgaging the future and always eroding our ability to remain strong for the long, long, run.

Free agency should be used very selectively IF AND ONLY IF it can be done to fill a critical need without impacting the long term plans.

I trust Idzick will do that very, very, well.

No reason to sign a top UFA on defense, do it for offense.

I dont think we could get enough in the draft to fix our offense without FA. Id really like us to sign either a bigtime TE or WR. We could use O line help as well quite honestly.

We need a playmaker RB or WR
    We need a Banger RB
We need a Go to TE
    We need a Possession WR
    We need OL

Those are my needs in order and I believe this is a deep offensive class. I think we can address the playmakers, OL will probably have to wait a year.
