lol fuck no. We are pot committed due to his contract right now and if people want to be fair to him he's not an awful backup. I already named 10 backups who have played this season and are worse then him. but he should be off the team in 2025. someone will pay him a few mil to be the backup and think they can fix him. but 2024 it'll be rodgers and zach again maybe they'll bring in a vet to compete for the backup spot thats cheap. it's slim pickings though.

I've never once in all the weeks of arguing here said zach was a good QB. it's all the crazy zach haters that exaggerate on anyone who doesn't say he should die lol. the best compliment I gave him during his best 2 game span was he's a borderline top 25 starter the past 2 weeks. somehow that's twisted into me saying he's the future and a good QB lol
Except the Jets who gave up around 150 yards rushing at over 4.5 ypc last night. And no, it is not all stacked boxes the Jets run against. It is often just missed blocking assignments.
I think it is unfair to blame Zack for the offensive performance yesterday. LIke every week when the jets get in the red zone they continue to shoot themselves in the foot with holding pennalties and ineligible receiver downfield and other stupid penalties. I belief we are one of the most undisciplined teams in the league. Much of these penalties are a result of probably the worst offensive line in the league. Also why is Uzumah getting run time after that terrible holding penalty? Why don't they play Ruckert more and design more TE plays for the endzone like every other team? As for why we don't runt he ball more, well it is difficult to run the ball when you get negative yardage on the first play and then pickup another 1 or 2 on the second play. Again this is a result of a shitty offensive line. As for Zack, he is making progress. He is releasing the ball less then 2.5 seconds which is a vast improvement. Another point is that we only have 1 WR. Lazard just sucks. Even the pass he caught he bobbled it for a couple of seconds. If you notice he never catches the ball cleanly and get much YAC. You add the pathetic offensive line, with poor coaching design and you have the jets offense in a nut shell. Yes, Zac made an errant throw at the end of the game but no one maligns Allen or other QBs when the throw interceptions. Burrow threw 2 this week and Allen throws 1 or 2 every week. He has just been labeled a bust and no one wants to move off of that point. I personally think if he had good coaching another decent #2 WR and a decent offensive line Zach would be OK. QB is a tough position and it takes time to figure it out. Just look at Geno Smith. If anyone thinks the Rodgers would do much betther with this OL and offensive scheme is kidding themselve. Saleh is one of those guys that gives a good speech but doesn't know how to do the math. He doesn't adjust to game siturations and just says the same BS every week. And lastly as I said on another thread Douglas really is getting a pass, especially with not being able to see how pathetic the OL would be. I mean to go into the year with a 38 year old with a busted wing, the other tackle who has not played in two years, and AVT who just recovered from a serious injury is crazy. And then to just acquiesce to Rodgers and bring over duds like Cobb, Lazard Turner along with the terrible signing of Cook drives me nuts.
