You get lucky on a play or perhaps a series of downs, BUt have a lucky season? give me a break! Some times you have to give credit
millen maybe but not theismann. he did sunday night football on espn for like 15 years. and sucked royally every single one of them. dude is a clown
You misread his post. Millen and Theismann both have experience. He's saying the guys who did Chargers/Raiders didn't.
The call that bothered me was in the second half Sanchez threw a deep ball to Edwards and put it to the outside. the d-back fell down and edwards ended up not getting both feet in bounds. Theisman acted like the Sanchez missed a wide open WR, but when Sanchez released the throw the DB was still in coverage and to the inside of Edwards so he had to throw the ball to the outside. The throw was not perfect but far from the screw-up theisman acted like it was. We should all write to the NFL complaining about them! I will
Oh so I wasn't the only one who thought that... those two were friggin' atrocious!!! Especially Theismann, god knows how much I hate the douche.
We thought this the whole game - Millen needs to be out of the booth and out of football. He sucked as a GM, and he's worse as an announcer!
Honestly TNF blows for so many reasons. The NFL Network broadcast sucks so hard. The announcers are terrible and the camera work is atrocious.
This old Jet fan does not post very often but I just must say how pissed I was at Theismann trashing the Jets last night. What an asshole. What team in the NFL blows out every other team every week? No team does this. We are 9 and 2. you asshole. Allentown Ernie.
After the first half i just had my TV on mute, and just pumped music for the rest of the game. Jesus, they were TRASH! Theismann sounds like a hating jackass talking down to a 9-2 Playoff bound jet team like they are the cowboys, or some shit. TV on mute + bob wischusen > these 2 rejects. That's what i should have done
Thats exactly what I took away from the game as well. Apparently special teams should never be the reason a team won when they are a good football team. Idiots.
Now that's not true. Can't be worse than he was as GM. The problem is syncing up the sound to the game.
I think the game against Detroit was the absolute worst. Gus Johnson and the other guy I dont know who, that was god awful.
Although it's true that he ultimately answers to the NFL owners, I assume that Steve Bornstein (the President and CEO of the network) makes decisions like who sits in the booth during games. Which leads me to my next point: fuck Steve Bornstein.
