The AL has won 2 of 3 as well but the Champ doesn't determine who has the better league. if that's the logic then I guess the AL Central was the best division in MLB? SL only won 83 games and there were only 2 teams barely over .500 but it must have been the best since their champ won the WS? B/c the cards won the WS doesn't change the fact that the NL was a complete joke this year and maybe the worst year for a league ever.
I normally would look at interleague play to determine which is the better league. I'm just throwing a bone to ShadeTree, is all. When the NFC was winning the Super Bowl every year and being labeled as the better conference, I didn't find it to be a fair label, particularly in seasons in which the AFC had the better interconference mark.
