    There have been some games played amidst snow flurries.

    Tigers in 5...or 6. I'd like to see them win in Detroit so Rogers can spray champagne on fans again.

    MLB really needs to have the World Series played in early October. The sport is usually played in pleasant weather. These night games in October are a bit too much.

    After Pudge got hit by Pujols's foul tip, I just had a feeling "he's uncomfortable behind the plate now, I bet. Maybe a passed ball coming?"

    oh yeah, and at the end of the game they showed fans holding signs that said "Cards are Au Naturale" and "Cards do it on raw talent", jabs at the Gambling Cheater in the visitor's dugout. I guess at juicers also, but how would they know whether their guys are juicing or not? Whatever.

    Petulant Texas Rangers pitcher Kenny Rogers was booked in July 2005 on a misdemeanor assault charge for roughing up a TV cameraman. During a 30-minute stop at the Tarrant County Jail, the All-Star, 40, was photographed, fingerprinted, and released after posting $1500 bond. He faces a maximum of a year in the can and a $4000 fine if convicted of shoving cameraman Larry Rodriguez to the ground prior to a June 29 game against the Angels.

    Getting ready to slam the door and close the show :smile:

    In all my years, this is the first true championship any team I pull for has won. Not since the Cards won it all in the 80s have I actually seen a team I've been a fan of win anything but consolation prizes. And I was just a kid back then, I don't even remember that very well.

    I'll know tomorrow what being a champion truly feels like. YES!
