i do believe the consensus was that stafford was by far the safest pick of all the qb's (which isn't saying much). stafford started for a major college program for three years. sanchez was a one year wonder that couldn't beat out booty the year before. i have my reservations about sanchez, especially since the odds are so much against the one year wonder's out of the college ranks. we'll all know soon enough. i don't expect much from him this year other than flashes of him being the guy and showing steady progression as the season gets along.
I don't get it. I see everyone looking at him as a star in training. not the second coming of the messiah. What else do you expect Woody to say. If he doesn't praise and build up Sanchez who else will. the coaching staff won't. and can't. they have to train, build, work and teach and praise when it's due. We as fans can only hope, wish, cross our fingers and stand behind and support our gang green.
