You are one of those that nitpick every tiny detail and must have every word spelled out, aren't you? Let me be SPECIFIC! The entire modus operandi of that fucking organization is a walking, talking, moving shit show. Top to bottom. Hell, as you'll see soon, even the damn players gave the owner the ONLY "F" grade in the entire league. In my opinion, that's saying something considering the absolute shit show going on down in Carolina these days. Even he as able to muster a "D-" grade. The whole nightmare is a culmination of NOTHING being done right. From stupid shit like letting your dumb ass 17 year old hand out game balls and make speeches to MEN all the way down to Johnson fucking around with the roster. The entire fuck-wad shows up, on the field, every damn game, for FOURTEEN YEARS! Now, you can continue to nitpick every word folks "type" on this board or you can gain a bit of nuance and realize that not everyone is going-to-spell-out-EXACTLY-what-they-mean-in-detail for YOUR satisfaction.
Yeah I agree….we have no way of knowing how much of the reported stuff is true, false, or embellished. However, I think it’s pretty safe to say that there is A LOT wrong with this team, and it starts with Woody and his so-called leadership. You have to be some kind of special to own the longest playoff drought in all of the major sports…especially as a football team, where the NFL has crafted a system that is set up to try and establish parity…there is a draft where the worst teams pick first, and there is a salary cap that both serve to level the playing field. Of course, the rules are now such that the real barometer of success is if you have a QB, and if you don’t, you just won’t be a consistent winner. But regardless, the path to relevancy is better laid out than in other sports where the money teams can just outspend everyone else. Personally, I don’t doubt that Brick plays Madden, and I don’t doubt that he probably talks to his dad about it, and I don’t doubt that Woody is stupid enough to bring that up with his team. It’s not so far fetched. Not saying that he’s making decisions based solely on that, but it’s not such a crazy idea. But there is definitely a lot of crap in this organization, starting with the clueless Woody and his consistent and continued inability to find and hire bright football minds to run the team. He’s a fucking idiot, and he makes poor to awful hiring decisions. And that’s just what we can see as fans…the coaches suck, the GM sucks, etc. We don’t even see the behind the scenes stuff, like the dietician stuff in that article, or the team facilities and how they compare to other teams, etc. But you don’t get the shit results we’ve gotten for so damn long if stuff isn’t rotten all the way at the top…
I am not arguing a larger point though about the shit show or Woody being a dumb ass and bad owner. My main argument is that it happens because of his inability to hire right football people 1st and foremost. He did hire some decent people before and we had some good results. But the League evolved and he is still same dumb ass. You could see that by him not interviewing a SINGLE competent offensive HC candidate in 2025. The best one they talked to was fired as an OC. Now, with all that said, the report is still full shit, it was terrible reporting, and yes it does come down to detail, and it just doesn't add up. That does not mean Woody is not a dumb ass. These two things can be true at the same time, that's really all I am trying to say.
