So what exactly would you like him to say? Bart Scott sucked dick, Mike Pettine should be shitcanned and Brian Schottenheimer is as good of an OC as the guy who puts cotton the aspiran bottles?

I guess he could do that:) But maybe also accept collective responsibility and need to do better, talk about committment to continuous improvement and articulate a vision for the future. Comes across much better than the I don't know and just one of those days speech he went with.

I think that may give the appearance that he is stepping on Tannenbaum's and Ryan's toes. AKA- Jerry Jones Syndrome.

It's pretty clear to most people that he's doing the best he can to improve the team. Saying anything about the "commitment to continuous improvement" could lead to speculation that someone will lose their job.

I'm in the less he says, the better, on this one.

If he combined the collective responsibility with the need to improve it would be clear he isn't head hunting, but I hear you - press could twist or read into words and have unintended consequences.

My initial reaction was out of raw emotion - still hurting from the loss and to hear him say it's nobody's fault and we just had a bad day combined with talking about how great the new stadium is just set me off!

so basically you'd feel better if he came and issued a bunch of meaningless statements utilizing classic b-school corporate doublespeak.

OMG - why is this not in the TT forum yet? I'm homeless and dropped out of college. I made cardboard shoes for my 2 kids and we eat the leftovers out of the dumpster behind Wendy's.

Are you all happy now? Gesu

BOT - Woody should just keep doing what he does. Keep his emotions and influence behind the scenes. I definitely don't want Jerry Jones as an owner. Woody put football people in charge of a football team and that's the best business decision he could make.

We saw Woody working out with coaches and other players on Hard Knocks. See him on the field during TC. I dont know if Woody is a "football person". But the man owns a team.

Are you being serious ... If there was accountability, why would Woody call ppl out publicly? How the fuck can Woody publicly call someone out without opening up a total shitstorm w/ the media?

I don't mind if he wants his name and picture in the news/blogs. As long as he doesn't start providing his input into football decisions (other than 'yeah sure I can afford that signing') everything will be fine.
