PSL owner. Don't "love" him, but think he's doing an above average job. As most have said, it could be MUCH worse.

Something I really wish he would stop doing, is calling our team a "product". I've lost count of how many times I've heard him refer to the Jets that way. I know that's how he sees it, but have some common sense - the fans don't want to hear that.

He uses in the sense of, I want to put the best product on the field. I don't see anything wrong with that. It's just owner speak.

The man does what he can to win a championship. That's all I need from an owner.

The PSL's notwithstanding, he's taken some time to figure things out but he definately deserves credit for opening up his wallet and ceding power to those who are supposed to make these decisions (unlike Dan Snyder and Jerry Jones)

He bought the team in 2000, since then we've had 5 playoff appearances.

That is damn good, because prior to that and since the NFL merger we had a total of 6 appearances.

    Basically- NFL: 1981, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1991, 1998, and 2 in the AFL, 1968, 1969.

    After Woody, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2009.

JetBlue and Green Giant are the only acceptable names for the stadium IMO.

As far as Woody goes, great owner. I'm a Mets fan, I know about bad ownership, and Woody doesn't fall into that category.

After the 2007 season, Woody Johnson has been everything I could possibly ask for in a franchise owner.

An empowered GM, a very smart coaching change, an expensive roster packed with talent and a new stadium.

I'm not a season ticket holder, so I can understand where some people might have an issue. But for me? Woody's money.

I think they use "product", because they look at it as a total experience: the team, the cheerleaders, the website (greatly improved), the place in the community, relations with the media, etc. The best teams look at the total picture and I think Woody does that.

Green Giant is owned by Betty Crocker, that'd be like Ford Naming a field Explorer field. Well not really but you get my point.

Good owner. He cares about the team, has no problem spending money to win but lets the football people handle the football decisions.

He's funny, I remember on HK after the Panthers game Mike T and Woody were greeting the players...Woody gave Gholston a shove to the chest and said something like "HEY! You played great!". Idk what it was about that but I laughed

He's great for the team, not so much for the common fan.

This is one of the reasons I posted the poll. Between that move alone and the fact that he appears to be around the team plenty gives me the impression he cares about this team.

Now if he cares for his investment as well, that's good business in my opinion.

I think he's been a good owner. Built a state-of-the art facility in Florham Park to give them everything they need to train, new stadium after trying to get their own on the West Side, and has spent what he can on players. As others have said, he's involved but lets football people make football decisions.

I'm a fan who got booted upstairs this year, paying more for that than I was to be 20 rows from the field, but to me that's the reality of sports anymore. Build a new place and shit skyrockets in price--the Devils did it, Yankees, Mets, and now the football teams. Woody didn't have the option of not doing this because Giants Stadium wasn't ours and the people who owned it decided to knock it down.
