Woody back in charge

    So despite the fact that the product was significantly worse under Christopher Johnson, you'd prefer him to have more control because he seems to be nicer to the players? The one player that was cited opted out of his second season after only playing two games in his first?

    The nice guy schtick only goes so far. Players having direct access to the owner has created an extremely toxic atmosphere in Dallas so I'm not sure it's something that should necessarily be mimicked.

    Woody Johnson was in charge of the most successful elongated era of Jets football from 2000-2010. He's sucked since then, but his brother made us a laughing stock.

    Yes you did. And you answered that you prefer Christopher Johnson because you believe the players respect him more.

    I apologize, I clarified it in my second post, the one right above where you first quoted me:

    If Douglas wasn't here and the organizational structure hadn't been officially updated, I'd be less inclined to worry about Woody - we'd need clearer/better direction. But because those pieces/changes are in place, I don't think Woody is upgrading anything that Christopher is doing at this point, and in fact could be a detriment.
