I'm sorry but we have officially reached critical mass with the "generational talent" term. I think the term itself is being misused in it's actual definition, but what people were initially misusing it for was to term someone whose level of ability and talent only comes around once in a generation. People have been calling Trevor Lawrence that term because he resembles Peyton Manning whose ability to analyze the field of play in-game and adjust as is own OC was peerless. (I'm not seeing that potential in TL but whatever) Deshaun Watson is not that. He's a very good QB with elite stats but we've seen players of his level and better in the league right now, in the league recently, etc. There's nothing about his game I've seen that is unique or something that we haven't seen in a decade.
Not arguing, but Mangini and Mike T got fined for not putting him on the injury report. Isn't that hiding the injury? I don't really remember the circumstances. I do remember however, we were pretty freaking good for a while with a real NFL QB behind center.
