That brings me back to my original post.

Why did I have to make a nice find? It's not a real story?

Why did those families go to alternative press to air their concerns? Certainly not to get the type of exposure that talking to the press is meant to garner.

I went back to when the lawsuit was first filed and found the very bare minimum of mentions on mainstream press and almost zero quotes from the families.

I have no problem with this conspiracy theory at all. It's standard practice for governments to kill some of their best warriors in planned ambushes by giving the enemy their locations.

    /facepalm

Did anybody read the part about the $200M lawsuit? Follow the money, that's where the motivation usually lies. That's where the lies usually lie also.

It's too bad they "killed" Osama at sea.

Every single one of them would probably still be alive and serving their asshole political masters.

I could be wrong on this but I believe the team that died in that firefight was not the team that took Osama down. They'd rotated out of theater by then.

The argument was also made that a false target was planted at the site of the ambush to lure the SEAL's in. In fact they were coming to the rescue of an Army Ranger team that had gotten pinned down and was having trouble disengaging.

I'll have to fact check that. I don't know why those SEALs would be so paranoid about their identities if they weren't the ones involved in the Osama charade.

Took me about 10 mins of clicking links of the news stories related to the actual ambush to get that this was SEAL Team 6 but not the same guys who carried out the raid and that the reason they were in the field that day was to rescue an Army Ranger unit.

Seriously, nothing that we read is the 100% truth these days but with the Right acting the way they've been acting the last 6 years that doesn't really matter does it?

If anybody even remotely connected to the Obama administration spits on the sidewalk you get a crowd of Republicans surrounding the little puddle immediately with magnifying glasses and chemistry swabs trying to turn the thing into the blob threatening to swallow America, democracy and apple pie not to mention Mom.

I'm still convinced Bin Laden really died like 10 years ago. He was just the international boogeyman and public face of terror. They had to make an event of the capture and destroy the evidence. I just don't buy it.

It could also be possible that the team didn't die, and actually went into deep cover on a special mission.

That'd be nice, but unless their identities are well known, there's no point in such an elaborate cover story.

Once again Br4d brings the voice of reason.

I'm all for a good conspiracy theory, but it never fails to amaze me how the same people who believe that our government, the one without a single organization that can do anything more intelligently than a K-mart clerk, can pull off one coordinated, mass-scale illusion after another. They're Belichick or they're Kotite. Pick one.

And enough with the "mainstream media" shit. There are more people shouting to the rooftops that they are the alternative to mainstream media than there are mainstream media - by an order of magnitude. No offense, but just because you have a blog and a bachelor's in physics doesn't mean you "solved" Tower 7. You're not Ted Koppel...or Steven Hawking. People can form their own opinions very easily in today's information world, it's called look at info on BOTH sides, discard the fringe crap, and find the truth in the middle (which is where it almost always is).

Those soldiers probably did get ambushed, and it probably was one of the Afghan forces who tipped them off. It was not the same guys but it was the same unit, which is troubling. Maybe everyone should have had tighter lips in the hours after Bin Laden, but I remember that night vividly; for about 15 minutes, regardless of politics, everyone had such a sense of victory - that feeling I might get before I die if the Jets ever win the Superbowl - and they bragged a little. Maybe too much. Bad idea. Maybe.

I don't think everything that's going on is right, but I don't buy the super-villain theory either. If everyone's coming at you from all sides, then fuck it, I guess. Move to Somalia. They have no government. I hear the beaches are lovely...

the small fires would not bring down that building. It was not hit by a plane, and silverstein admitted to pulling it(Plenty of convenient things destroyed In that collapse, too). As far as the towers,i don't need a blog or a degree, other people with degrees, and basic physics says no freaking way. just the 20 degree angle of the top falling was not enough for one of the more solid floors to stop the freefall. As far a mainstream media,it is fact that the Gov pays them to relay to you,if you want to trust THAT as truth....

If 9/11 conspiracies are so far off,an laughable, why do they want to put Americans with these view on terror watch lists just for expressing constitutional dissent?

I've worked for the government and the military. Your characterizations are naive. It's mainly like any very large corporation. The graybeards make the policy and pass it down through the ranks.

Of course there are incompetent people working for the government and military elements. Just like there are for most Fortune 500 companies. But those companies bother to spend money on PR because they have to make stockholders confident.

Complete horseshit. The fact that there was absolutely zero investigation into any of the towers falling on 9/11 should have risen a huge alarm, but people accepted what they thought they saw because it was presented to them by mainstream media.

Never mind the fact that so many things that were reported that day were inaccurate and buried afterwards.

But don't worry. Halloween Mask Feinstein is making sure that nobody is allowed to report the news without government authority.

This is some funny shit right here.

"Both sides"? What two sides would those be? :)

The fact that you are pretty much admitting that there are two sides to political opinion and everything else is fringe... you are an intellectual fucking coward. You worship a political party and preach the gospel of it without realizing that you are being controlled.

You aren't "all for a good conspiracy theory". You are all for lying about what your weak convictions are.

    Intellectual coward that you are.

I was in Afghanistan at the time. When the news broke out on my base, words cannot describe how we all felt. We knew the fighting would continue, but it was just one huge moment of relief.

As for the conspiracy nutjobs on the forum not wanting to believe that world political affairs affect my work as a chemist, I don't care. Shit happens, I get paid, the world moves on.

I always find it funny when someone has been over there it automatically gives them an inside edge on the reasoning. far from the truth. and if you are in the world of science, you might want to start actually looking and use science to explain those buildings falling. Its not hard.

So what's your experience in the field of physics? Since you know so much, I'm sure you have a PhD in both mechanical engineering and physics which would then actually qualify you to say that the experts are wrong.

The "experts" aren't wrong. The official corporate sponsored answer has come from hand picked "experts" which have been debunked by actual experts worldwide. Which have been conveniently shutdown or demonized. You just happen to slurp from the trough of corporate truth. Why don't you just start by thinking at a elementary level, watch video a few times, and explain to your self how with the top of the building falling, cocked at a 20 degree angle, how one of the still intact floors on the way down would have diverted the seemingly perfect freefall. Once you get past that, listen to some of the many actual experts that have explained how that can happen.....it could have only happeed with help. Then you can listen to the many, many 1st responders reporting explosions.

And I don't care what anyone says,if you think 7 fell as a natural result of the attack, the you are a moron.

So for the "experts" who claim there must have been help, their reasoning is "I don't know so I'm just going to call shenanigans". How very reasonable...
