umm yeah that guy. he looks ALOT better than chad this year picks included. now before this season started i would baulk at the notion of this thread but I'm surprised, with Tiki gone, that Eli looks like hes taking control of the offense for once.
Pretty much. If I had to win one game this week and had to pick either guy to run the same team I'd pick Chad. If we're talking about which guy you're looking to plug in for the next few years to make a run, probably Eli. Based on youth, health and the improvement he's shown.
It depends which team. Against a good Defense Chad is pretty much not getting it done. Against a bad D he would give you less of a chance to screw it up.
the comments about noodle arm having won playoff games is a cheesy excuse. manning has only been in the league half the years noodle has been. manning has much more upside and he seems to be coming around. noodle arm had a better team going into those playoff games also. manning will be nothing great(average), but noodle arm has had one good year(2002)and shown to be average since. last year was the weak ass schedule and we won inspite of noodle arm more than because of him!!!!
Cahd is better ! Eli has more velocity on his passes and can throw the long ball better. The one thing Eli does that is similar to a Chad long pass is he kind of heaves the ball if that makes any sense. (The way it looks when he thorws a long pass coming out of his hand)
This in one of those polls I couldn't vote in because the two players have such different strengths and weaknesses. It's like asking whether you'd rather have a convertible or a pickup truck. If you're needing to haul some loads you take the pickup truck and if you want to do some sightseeing you take the convertible. BTW, this is a roundabout way of saying neither of those players is particularly good at this point. Some QB's just look like a Mercedes station wagon and cut off the other two choices.
I can't decide what's worse, this poll or the fact that it's even close. Why would anyone choose Eli if they took off the green shades? The only reason people get down on Chad is because they're Jets fans and feel we have a better option for this current team. Chad's hurt right now, which has affected his play lately more than anyone would care to admit. Side to side in similar personnel situations, both healthy, it's not even close.
