What he is doing is no different than what Coles did in both NY and Washington prior to this year. Why shouldn't Cutler want to play somewhere where he is wanted? No diffent than what Elway or Manning did. I would have loved to get either Elway or Manning even though Elway was a whinny bitch.
Everybody thinks they are going to use their 1st on a QB this year anyway. So if they gave up this years and next years what's the big deal? Hardly a disaster. They get a day-1 ready QB instead of a project.
Have you seen the Lions D lately? It would be a disaster. Again, they need to fill so many spots that giving up another first rounder would be incredibly stupid.
I'd say its 50/50 at this point. Cutler not showing up today certainly upgraded the situation from pissing contest to piss-drinking contest.
Yeah, yeah, I know but everybody on the planet pretty much says Detroid will take Stafford with the #1 pick in this year's draft. That is a much bigger mistake then taking Cutler with this years and next years would be. That's the point. Stafford won't be ready to play for years so that could be a disaster.
Which to me is making him look worse. Denver didn't do anything except what they're supposed to be doing--consider whatever option that might improve their team. They've tried to smooth it over since and he's acting like a bitch.
I don't think they did try and smooth it over unless Cutler is lying about the conversation with the coach? I think Denver wants to move him for a QB and picks. They pretty much suck and McDaniels wants to build the team from scratch preferably with a QB who knows his system. I think for the right deal they move him.
Yea I agree. He just can't let it go. At first it was a good story now Cutler just looks like an ahole for dragging it on.
Denver Post reports Jay Cutler did not attend the first day of the Broncos' offseason program this morning http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_11924596
I think his agent is simply using this minor slight as grounds for a new contract. Something that shows "the commitment of the organization" (which means huge bucks).
take your head out of your bum. Cutler was fine until McDaniels started shopping him around like a Saigon whore. Cutler isn't feeling the loyalty from McDaniel's nor his Front Office...do you blame him for wanting to leave??
It sounds like they only considered moving him for Cassel, when that didn't happen they had no intention of just getting rid of him. In which case he needs to get over it---how do you think he'd do here when people cheer his injury like they did Pennington's as he hobbled off the field?
