You're insulting the guy's kid right to his face. Do you have kids of your own? You're comparing a college football player to a poster's kid? Where am I missing the link?
Back on topic - options for replacing Jenkins. ================================================================= Everything else ends at this point. Thanks.
Wait a second KOZ. This is the internet. I'm not saying anything to anyone's face. ...and no, I don't have kids...and if I eventually do, I'm not going to put their pictures on a fucking message board. Stephon Gilmore is someone's kid too! *EDIT: ...just saw SJ's post. [/done, son]
Everyone's a little testy. I assume E missed my post above, so I'll do this again. Last time, though. Back on topic - options for replacing Jenkins. ================================================== =============== Everything else ends at this point. Thanks.
I know hindsight is 20/20 but I hate the fact that the Jets used their 2nd round pick on an OG when they already had a Pro-Bowler (albeit a declining one) on their roster. Shouldn't DT have been the biggest position of need there given Jenkins' age and fragile injury status?
Sione Pouha was pretty damn good last season. He's one of the most underrated players in this league.
Can Mangini possibly ride in and try to help us again? Maybe a straight-up trade, Rogers for Drew Coleman? Oh shit, forget it, Holmgren is now in charge...
LMAO! You Tanny thought about picking up the phone for a second last night until he remembered this. LOL!
Maybe they'll take Brodney Pool back.. I can't believe I'm seeing all this Haynesworth talk, his work ethic is worse than Randy Moss's
Last year we had Pitoitua to help fill the void, he's gone for the year too. Apologies if it's already been mentioned.
RoPo was inactive for most of the season. Hopefully Jarron Gilbert develops as quickly as possible and makes his way to the 53 man roster sooner than later.
Ole Miss' Jerrell Powe and Baylor's Phil Taylor are probably the two best options. I'm sure if you did a quick search in the draft forum, you'd find some stuff on future nose tackle prospects. If I had to choose between a nose tackle and a defensive end, I'd go after an end. In this scheme, ends are more important - especially with all of the different fronts we show. I just hope Ryan brings in another big body in the off-season. We don't necessarily need a dominant nose tackle to be a top tier defense. A nose that can come in and and share time with Pouha would be ideal and inexpensive.
There is no call for the personal shots like this. your good enough to win the argument outright because you know a shitton about football. No need to stoop to this shit.
