With a win tonight, we might have to beat them 3 times this season.

We wouldn't play them until the championship game.

They won't make it that far.

NE would have a bumpy fricken road to get a rematch.

Theyd have to beat @ Chiefs or Jags (eitherway a power running team, hopefully chiefs though)

Then probably @ Baltimore (think we all know how that story goes)

    Then @ us.

Theyll have some serious wear and tare if they actually get to our house.

If you flip a coin 3 times, your odds are the same of getting any combination of heads/tails.

those are my feelings as well. Meet them on our turf in January, when it comes to the Patriots and playoff games, my mind always go back to the one they stole from the Raiders in the snow in Foxboro that created this nightmare so many years ago. Much rather them come here.

Threads like this I don't understand. Shouldn't the focus, if it should ever be, be on tonight? Cross that bridge and all that when and if it gets here.

If we beat the Pats tonight and have homefield advantage in the playoffs and a bye week in there we will win for sure. Pats will be thinking how can they beat us and the Jets will know exactly how to win. Not to mention the crowd will be going bat shit fucking crazy OMG!!!11!!!!!!!!1!!!

    One game at a time.

If we have the opportunity of beating them twice, than we would be at home for the 3rd time...I like our chances.

I do not want to jump the gun but I want to correct a misconception here. There is a good chance that if there was a rematch regardless of who is home of these two teams it does not happen in the AFCCG but the divisional round.
The 5 and 6 seeds would have to both win on wildcard weekend for that to happen if the Jets or Pats are #1. Also the loser of the division could easily also get the 6 seed. Balt and Pitt loser of division could definitely beat out the East loser for WC position.
