The display fucks up on me sometimes where the mouse pointer disappears. Only solution I've found so far is to reboot but I haven't tried very hard to look for better solutions. Reboots are so quick with SSD's now it's not very painful.

I don't tax my win10 machine very much. Mostly just web browsing, and remoting into work. No functional difference between 8.1 and 10 for what I do, except this stupid cortana box that doesn't work with my microphone anyway.

My clean install of windows was relatively pain free although I did have one nagging problem: Power schemes. It took quite a bit of researching and going to the Microsoft Forums to finally luck into the solution. My computer wouldn't go into hibernate mode which although still powered, its a low power state and makes for really fast boot ups. The solution was to disconnect all the USB devices and replace them one at a time until the problem resurfaced. I have one USB-1 device that no matter what drivers I use for it, will not play nice with Win10.

Other than that, no issues whatsoever. I have 4 win10 machines operational on my home network one of which is configured as a Media Server. Basically, I can stream 1080p from any of the machines to any TV in the house effortlessly. Win7 was the standard. Now its Win10.

Thanks guys. Still seems like a mixed bag of reviews. Windows 7 has been so good for me that I haven't felt the need to switch. The old "if it ain't broke don't fix it" theory.
