Hopefully you are aware that his opinion on the season doesn't negate the facts of how you build from season to season to eventually become good enough to win a super bowl. Not to mention my post had nothing to do with attaching a label to the season as a success or not. But then you generally aren't smart enough to not bite your fingers when eating toast so I shouldn't be surprised what was stated went over your head.
I read somewhere that Tampa Bay has stated they have no interest in trading him. They consider him starter quality on a very cheap deal. They claim they won't give him up for less than a first rounder.
I been hearing what U posted now for 47 years so hopefully U do not have to wait as long to C the NYJs play in a SB
No U R incorrect the goal is to win in the SB not just reach the PO which even our present HC knows what the goal is Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN 1h1 hour ago Todd Bowles on Jets' 10-win season: “It’s not a success because you didn’t win a Super Bowl" http://nydn.us/1lQXKKa
Actually,if you had any emotional stability and comprehension skills you'd agree with what I stated. All you are concerned about is winning the SB; going 6-10 puts us farther away from a SB than 10-6. Teams are built upon season to season, not merely individual, isolated entities that are all equal at the start of the next season. So although last season was a failure, it is still being built upon for this season and you want a better team to build on than a worse team.
This is one of the most non factual post ever posted on TGG IMHO. U appeared to have forgotten how FA desertions & Salary Cap matters make your equation as posted totally unreal. Oh yes & our HC made this quote Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN 1h1 hour ago Todd Bowles on Jets' 10-win season: “It’s not a success because you didn’t win a Super Bowl" http://nydn.us/1lQXKKa
IMO U should know NFL teams are 0-50 at winning the VLT the season after finishing 4-12 Improving the team is how JWN eventually led the NYJs to the VLT in MIA in 1969
No, the possibility for decline doesn't negate that the worse record you have in a season reduces the likelihood that you will improve enough to be a Super Bowk champion the next season.
OK then how many times have U seen the NYJs play in the SB? My impression of U is that U do not realize that what U posted is said after EVERY NYJ LOSING season which is now 47 years & still counting
No that's not even close to what I said. My impression of U is that you do not realize you're an imbecile.
