I don’t think there is much difference between picking in the teens or picking 10-12

And I dislike the fish very much

Sorry, Sid - you don't know who the Jets would have drafted if they picked first since they were so enamored of Wilson early on in the process.

You do, indeed, "play to win the game" because it's the only way to develop a winning culture and impress on the team and staff that every play of every game counts. It's also not as if the Jets have ever had an extended history of extracting value from their draft picks. The playoffs were lost this season because the 2022 Jets did not score enough points - no other reason.

Agreed. I really don't care if they win or lose, but I need to see TDs and not just a pile of useless feel good yards and the weekly long range FG that will shield our passing game coordinator from any criticisms. Maybe the Jets show up on Sunday and maybe they don't. Saleh should be thinking about his future after '23-24 if it looks anything like the great collapse of '22-23.

The team should play to win but I really don't care what the result is this week. This was one of the cruellest seasons I can remember and that's saying something for a Jets fan. I have nothing left to give, I doubt I'll even watch.

Time to start watching the good teams play in exciting games. Thank God I love football and can enjoy watching other teams!

I voted for them to lose.

We're out of the playoffs now so there's no reason to win this game IMO.

If you wanna talk about building the culture? That should've been the thought for the last few weeks. Winning games to put yourself into the playoff picture is how you change or build a culture.

Maybe we draft another 1st round bust? Maybe we draft another difference maker? There's no way to know right now but I would much rather we have a better shot at drafting a difference maker.

If they win then they’ve helped NE get into the playoffs. If they lose then they likely help MIA get into the playoffs. Makes me want to root for an apocalypse

I dont know the draft implications. If its the difference between like 7 and 17, they should probably lose the game. If the outcome doesnt make a huge difference, I won't really lose any sleep if they win.

This year is different because I don't really need to "see what we have in anyone" in week 18. A good performance by White, Wilson, Flacco or Shreveler won't change my opinion about anything.

It would be nice to see G. Wilson have a monster game. I don't think his stats so far really reflect how good he is. Other than that, I don't really care.

To answer, a loss locks us into no worse than the 13th pick with the ability to move up to 10th.

A win introduces a scenario where we could potentially drop all the way to 16th/17th.

I have been saying lose 3 weeks ago. Caught some heat from others that now say lose. We are in a good position for next year providing weget a quarterback. Yes I am renewing my season tickets

They should probably lose in that case. A potential top 10 pick for a team with the Jets existing talent could be huge.

Saleh going with who deserves time, not basing it off age or experience. The absolute correct move.

Never mind moral victories, the jets need to win EVERY GAME THEY CAN , to move forward with a winning attitude. WINNING TEAMS, NEVER worry about draft pick status.
I want them to END the season on a WINNING note regardless, its the right thing to do.
Fuck this let's lose shit, you wanna think like that? , you get SAME OLD JETS.

The correct move would be to play the guys that will most likely be here in '23. There's quite a few guys playing now that hopefully will be gone by TC and are blocking the development of new talent. Especially on the D. The win means nothing. The experience should be the focus. Especially for a HC sitting in a warming seat.

Is one game of experience going to make or break anyone on this team? Jermaine Johnson is the only guy you could argue for and his snaps are increasing.

Personally I don’t really care…I’ll take a win and a sweep of the fish (even if it against backup QBs), but I also would not be upset with a loss and a better draft pick especially if it’s a potential top ten pick

If the Jets can't beat the Dolphins with an injured Bridgewater at QB (or possibly their 3rd stringer) then we are in big trouble. White needs to show something if he wants any chance at being the starting QB.
