Where there's smoke there's fire.
I live in the Northwest and I just can't see this happening. The current ownership is dedicated that the late Paul Allen's legacy of his sports franchises are followed through. That includes long term visions for the Seahawks and Trail Blazers. Wilson means everything to that franchise and the Seattle area. He is more than just an asset.
This rumour has been gaining traction ... I think it's a distinct possibility.
RW would love to play for the Giants. His wife wants to move to NYC. It ain't going to happen. Seattle is clearing cap to make a deal.
they already did. landon collings gone, odell beckham gone, JPP gone, Vernon gone, been handing onto eli for 5 years too long, it's barkely + scrubs at this point. they have 0 good players under the age of 30 outside of barkley really
The conversation starts at 6, 17, and next years 1st.
Wilson is on the last year of his deal, he and the Seahawks agreed today is the deadline for contract negotiations, and the draft is coming up in a week and a half.
It doesn’t matter where Wilson wants to play. Seattle controls his rights for at least 3 more seasons. I highly doubt they would even entertain the idea of trading him let alone actually getting a package enough to entice them to actually trade him.
Trust me...I wish I never started this thread.
Nothing wrong with this thread. There was a rumor going around, you acknowledged it was a rumor, and posted it in the right forum.
Actually I screwed up and planted it in the Jets forum.
I was up all night working some Bundesliga games and that lulled me into a catatonic state.
I'll try and do better.
Hang on hang on you work Bundesliga games. What do you do, that sounds awesome
I work the pre-match, haltime & post shows on the matches that are pumped thru Los Angeles and aired in the US.
That entails early calls.
Totally puts a hitch in my Friday & Saturday nite shenanigans.
