Most of this drama is played up to sell papers and raise TV and radio ratings. The DUI is bad but on the part of Edwards, not Rex or the Jets. It's not like he beat up his girlfriends dad in the locker room (with intent) or tried to rape a girl (with intent) or stabbed someone to death (with intent). He partied too much and thought he could drive home (with stupidity no intent to injure). Yes drinking and driving is horrible and you can kill someone but he didn't. This weeks game will be decided by injuries and how well we execute not our Newspaper presence.
This thing is blowing up because of shadenfreude, people see Rex being arrogant and they feel that he's got it coming, so any little thing and they go nuts. Well fuck you, Rex is going to keep on talking, nacho is going to keep throwing to Braylon, and the Jets are going to keep on winning
