Will the Jets re-work Sanchez contract to keep Holmes&Edwards?

    1) If anything will be done it will be once a new CBA is struck

    2) Cotchery is earning what he deserves. Let's not forget this year he played through a herniated back... that's something VERY tough to play with... and a possible reason for his hands not being as reliable as they usually were.

    Duh, they need a new CBA to even discuss a pay cut.

    They won't restructure until there's a new CBA and there won't ever be a pay cut. Sanchez might move when he receives money but he won't reduce his total comp. by a penny and, if anything, he'll get more money sooner (converting salary to signing bonuses).

    Makes good sense....I would think something of this nature would require Sanchez to initiate the act of the proposal because it might be obscure for the FO to even approach him like that.

    This happens only if mark gos to the fo offering to rework his deal i think the fo wouldnt come to him
