What I just thought he just completely disrespected the people talking to him by tying his cleats.

to me that last statement is a silly cliche and absolute rot...what's this competition crap? did u see eli manning have competition? or most starting qbs? back ups are back ups for a reason...pick a starter and stand with him through ups and downs and let him develope...competition is for teams not qbs

Maybe, but he'd throw his punch low and behind his target ;)

I really wish people would stop with this Eli stuff, for every Eli Manning that goes from being crap to being "good" there are 50 QB's with equal or better talent that never put it together.

This mantra reminds me of a lottery player who spends his entire paycheck every week on powerball tickets and saying "so and so in such in such won" yeah it could happen, but the odd's are, at this point, against it.

Although I will admit, Sanchez has a better chance of becoming a decent QB than the powerball player has of hitting the big one. But that's kind of like saying the Atlantic ocean is smaller than the Pacific ocean and saying therefore you can swim across the Atlantic....which has been done admittedly, though only once.
