From what I remember about Rogers is if he can't trust you to be in the right spot at the right time you'll never see the ball, especially on broken plays. If he can't learn routes he's not going to do much. The bigger issue is who is that safety net... with few exceptions during his time with GB they didn't use the TE much. I don't see Conklin as that guy and I haven't seen Ruckert progress to where he should be at this point. How many times can you have 2 RB's on the field, using one (Hall) as they safety net before the league knows it especially with Hackett calling the plays.

I'm not basing my opinion on statements made by Jets brass. I'm basing my opinion on information from other Jet observers who have a lot more knowledge than me.

It's a valid point regarding TEs, but we've heard a lot the last two training camps about how good of a connection Rodgers has with Conklin.

Corely breaks the second round curse by getting drafted in round three.

Inactive multiple consecutive games. Remember, GM+Coach on draft day said "whatever it takes to get him" ... eh not so much now. MAYBE he can be taught by Davante and Garrett and be of use in the future.

Mims got more play than Corley. They obviously don't like the kid so he gets to hang out with Izzy on the shit list.

JD has shown time and again that he's incapable of identifying talent unless it's a consensus first rounder.

Reviewing our drafts under JD, it's actually wild. We've only had 3 good picks after the first round - Breece, Allen, and Michael Carter II. The RBs barely even count also because RBs don't get drafted in the first round anyway, so Breece was essentially a first round pick by RB standards.

To miss on such a pick like this is insane to me, especially after Denzel Mims lmao. Douglas sucks.

When they called him the YAC King, it seems they meant the vomiting definition.

While not a fan of a third round pick not contributing at all, I get why he's not getting playing time. There use to be patience, but that is gone. He's definitely not going to play now due to the room.

I'd like to see him have a good game, maybe 2. But I won't say this is awful until probably next year.

Seems like this year I have been getting Google alerts for WKU games and from what I can remember, they have been crushing all the scrub teams thru play.
