If I called you a little bitch, would you report me? I think we both know the answer to that question.

Would it matter if I did? Rules don't seem to apply to you.

If you have a beef with me over anything other than Cromartie, let's hear it.

If liking Cromartie is my only problem I would say my batting average is pretty good.

Dwelling on players that have already been cut is a waste of time.

Yeah... not your only problem. I think your main problem is thinking we need to perpetually be in a state of rebuilding. Rebuilding is a dead art and needs to stay dead.

I just didn't waste my time, because I knew it was pointless. It's like talking to a brick wall.

Good luck with that Cleveland. #ThisIsWhyYouDontBankOnPlayersWithCharacterIssues
(I realize Gronk does this stuff all the time. But unlike Gordon, he hasn't let his personal life affect his play.)

Ya it's not risk to bring him back tho. If he cleans himself up and can play anywhere near to how good he is its a win for them

I agree, Cleveland has nothing to lose. I just don't like banking on Richardson because he reminds me of Gordon.

the right plan should have already been put in place, and that is the problem. the right price for brick is something he would be extremely unlikely to accept. his replacment needs to be added this year, and ideally in place of him. you cant let what a guy did in his prime blind you.

No, the big picture is doing what is best for this team, now and for the future.

Trading MO has much more benefits to me than keeping him. It's really that simple for me.

Everyone has an opinion but I still feel this team would be best suited to find a suitor for MO.

I guess we will see what happens.

i dont know man, i just don't want to be in the business of developing players and then shipping them off when they are in their prime

Exactly my point as well, we have different views on how this team should be built, I myself do not want to depend on a player that has 2 strikes. I think we can still get the deal done, we shall see.

The Jaguars just gave Malik Jackson $15 million per year. Other teams have been brutal to us in setting markets at positions we need to pay. I think we should just unload Mo for what we can get at this point. A 2nd and a mid rounder is fine with me; clear up the cap space to fix some other positions and accumulate some draft picks to rebuild the team's core.

Well, I think this ends any chance of us getting Mo here long-term. Better take whatever compensation you can get at this stage. They literally gave this guy JJ Watt type cash. Malik Jackson is a very good player, but Mo is definitely better.

at the very least it is certainly worth exploring. if we can either get a pick package(1st+) or something involving a tackle/edge rusher or even a stud itnerior linebacker id certainly look long and hard at that.

i think people here have too much invested in winning now after getting so close last season. i think we need to keep in mind that while 10 wins usually gets you in, last year pretty much everything went right. we didnt suffer a major long term injury, our journeyman QB who was coming off injury won the starting job and had a career pro bowl year, our schedule ended up being the easiest in over a decade, and many fo the teams we played had a significant injury when we faced them or qb issues.

we need to be looking at 2018 and beyond. not just next year

unfortunetly, thats the decision you have to make when you invest in older free agents or trade for older free agents or go top heavy at positions. this wouldnt be an issue if we had gone rebuild instead of quick retool

We could still keep Mo at 6 years 90 mil and lower his cap hit to let's say 12 mil this year ... that plus a few cuts and maneuvers would give us 20 mil in space.

Next year we would save another 20 by cutting Brick and Revis this isn't so bad ... we could also prob trade Sheldon for a 3rd rounder that could escalate to a 1st.

Maybe. But we'd still be locking up $15M a year in cap space on a 3-4 DL and that's not a great deal. If the Jets went 4-3 and made Mo the 3T then it might be acceptable but Richardson is a more natural fit there and you don't pay 4-3 NT's $15M a year.

Can't trade Richardson right now. His value is so depressed that we'd get robbed in the deal. Any conditional deal is going to run up against his likely suspension in 2016. How are you going to upgrade a pick to a 1st if he misses 6 to 10 games next year? What if they suspend him for the season? Right now all the Jets can do is hold their breath and pray with Richardson.

Sad to say, Mo is gone after this year, either by walking or trade. I am NOT looking forward to Sheldon's negotiations the way things are looking right now. Is this the NFL or the NBA?
