Yep, kniles hasn't had a lot of carries, but then again he plays behind Jamaal Charles. Being in KC I the Chiefs play every week on my big screen while having to watch the Jets most often on my laptop. Kniles is VERY good and he will be a stud in the NFL as he starts to get more carries.
I'm sure he will be good. But your saying that you'd rather have Knile over Ivory. I just don't see it. With limited snaps and carries, your average should be better than with more carries. Anyways, I still rather have Ivory than Davis.
Fair enough, its' an opinion thing at this point. But small samples sizes distort statistics and can distort them to be low or high. Kniles also got off to a rather slow start on the season and started to really come on in the second half of the season...or at least that's my perception from watching, I haven't verified that on a game by game statistics basis and I'm too busy watching the game to research it...besides, in the end at this point it's strictly an opinion thing.
That was a bad throw but I won't hold Luck on that since the receiver did have both hands on the ball, despite it being a difficult catch due to the bad throw... I'll say this, if the Colts lose it will be because of Luck, if they win it will be because of Luck...definitively so in either case.
Colts were down 38-10 and now within 10 points, and granted a good number of Chiefs points came off of luck turnovers, and now within 10 points...if an avg or worse qb was in the game the game would have been over at halftime. And that's the thing about a top tier QB, no matter how bad things get you are NEVER out of a game as long as there is time on the clock.
No doubt. Definitely is an opinion based thing here. Ivory also started off to a slow start, and we have a much less talented team and a much worse line. I just simply love how Ivory runs. At the end of the day, like you said everyone has a different opinion.
Just checked, Kniles Davis in the first 13 games only had more than 4 carries in 1 game and only had 1 game at 4 carriers. RB is all about touches, plus Kniles is a receiving threat out of the backfield AND a kick return threat once the Chiefs started using him in the kick return game later in the season. Like I said, I've had the pleasure of watching both RB's all season and I can honestly say in the long term I'd prefer Kniles.
