Oh Mike Nugent... The missing link to Herman Edwards Super bowl hopes.

Wow with that kick it just may be the Bengals day.

IMO - the Colts have really controlled this game though, just like the Panthers game yesterday, but a few mistakes have the scoreboard closer than the actual game has been.
If it wasn't for the dropped balls - colts would be up by 2 TDs.
We shall see if the Colts can take over like the Panthers did, or does letting the Bengals hang around burn them.

They will. The Bungals don't win playoff games. I can't believe the spread was as little as it was. Indy should be ashamed only being up 3 points at home to this team.

edit:8,888. I don't want to post anymore. It looks too sweet.

I think the Colts have generally been an "empty yards" team at times, especially because of Luck's penchant for turnovers. He could still have a critical one in the 2nd half that would cost the Colts despite what seems to be a game they are controlling by moving the ball well.

Dalton is not a great player by any stretch, but it's fair to point out that with Green and Gresham out, nobody is getting noticeably open

Little late, but I just can't understand how Ryan Lindley has hung around the NFL for this long. I don't think I can ever recall a worse QB in my time watching pro football. He's looked absolutely pitiful in every game

The name Hue Jackson has been kicked around a little bit. Other than the first play, I haven't seen much creativity today. He can't draw up anything to get anyone open at all. Without Green and Gresham, you need to lean more on the playcalling and coaching.

3rd straight playoff game where missing players have significantly hampered one of the teams:

    Arizona - Palmer/Stanton
    Steelers - Bell
    Bengals - Green

Dalton will probably be taken to task for this game but I haven't seen any of his WRs get open. Even on the flea flicker, it looked like a well thrown ball but the DB was right there stride for stride and broke it up

That was a horrible throw by dalton. He didn't lead Tate whatsoever. He needed to lay it out more for him or have him go towards the sideline more.

How is it a horrible throw if it would have hit the guy in stride minus the DB knocking it away? Bengals receivers have been blanketed, they've been using a 3rd string RB at WR they are so thin.

Lol you can't just minus the Db knocking it away. That's like you and me playing catch in my backyard with no one covering us. I would expect you hit me in stride every time. If dalton lead Tate towards the sideline Tate would have had an easy reception. Tate had a clear step or two on the DB

Even Simms just pointed out how Tate can't get open. Dude is a scrub

I don't think Dalton is good, I just think this loss goes far deeper than him not being a great player
