Alright at least they made the stop. But Dallas is going to need at least 2 TDs. Offensive line needs to just man the fuck up, show will.
Yep. The thing is, in the playoffs, you are almost always playing a very capable team that knows how to win. Only bad teams let you overcome stuff like that. The Lions are no doormat. You could make the argument they have more overall talent than Dallas.
The game is still within reach. If Dallas gets their shit together, they still have a shot. I wonder if I should bet some money on a Cowboys win from live bet.
Detroit underachieved on offense this season. Today they have put it together a little better. The matchups in this game in retrospect probably favored them.
And this is why the playoffs are so much fun. Any give Sunday really applies. You just need a few plays here or there for the "better" team to lose. Compare that to baseball or basketball where if you lose one game you have at least 3 other games in the series and up to 6 more.
The one thing I was surprised to hear during the week was that the Dallas running game would win the matchup against the Detroit rushing defense. Usually, in big games, the good defense gets the best of the good offense. Having said that, I thought Dallas would be chomping at the bit to have a big home playoff win. I thought it would be a party and that Romo would have a big day and maybe that the Dallas D would overachieve as they have all year.
Nahh the system is to grab and hold every play. They won't call it every time. You still need talented corners who can stick close enough to WRs to do this, but you do it all the time, it won't be called everytime.
