John Harbaugh just became available ...except for this game has a good track record The Price...a few draft picks and banking on another D guy Any takers??
would love to know if the Ravens FO had anything to do with Flacco not playing as you cannot believe that anyone thought that Jackson was the answer in that game
I said something similar to someone I know that is a ravens fan - as Jackson is a first round pick he will be their QB for the next 2 seasons minimum and he looks awful
I think he just means because they lost he may well not want to stick around (and the team may be more willing to let him walk)
one decision I did think was really odd was the Ravens choice to go for an onside kick when they were down 2 scores with around 7 minutes left to play - given that the onside kick now works only 8% of the time and your own kicker has never had a successful one why wouldn't you punt it and aim to get the ball back quickly especially when your D has been playing great all game? By handing the chargers the ball that close to field goal territory just seemed weird when there was still a decent chunk of time on the clock
Not 100% sure that wasn't a catch, but in any event, he lost it before he was down by contact and I didn't see any recovery. So...catch/fumble/??? One of the Eagles should've run over and grabbed it despite the whistle. TERRIBLE whistle by the refs, too.
This is fucking embarrassing. these rules are the worst rules of any sport I've ever seen in my entire f****** life
No one could recover it since the refs had blown it dead and ruled it incomplete as soon as it came out.
The refs need to stop deepthroating whistles on plays. Simple as that. Let it play out, then go back and look..
