Based on your name, I assume you have a man-crush on Sanchez. Please, do me a favor and tell me how great he is when Manning has better stats and leads an inferior team farther than the Jets next year. Or hell, do it after one of the 10+ inevitable pick-6's he throws next year.

I wont get banned. I will be here to remind each and every person who was against Manning and pretended that Sanchez is not a steaming pile of shit what a mistake this team made. I will get my redemption. Too bad it will cost the Jets a season. But it will result in Sanchez being out of the NFL, and a real qb leading this team..
This was the right move, but if sanchez doesn't pan out over the next 1-2 seasons..... It could cost Rex his job in the end.
What was the right move? Showing interest in Manning, showing we have doubts about the QB that this GM and HC staked their careers on or Manning choosing not to come here?
If Sanchez doesn't pan out it's going to cost a lot of people their jobs I think. That would make fixing the problems on the offensive line and making sure new ones don't crop up out of nowhere the single most important thing the Jets are going to do this off-season. Everything else is important but making sure that the Jets have some offensive continuity going on next year is the big key. They could also use a long-term plan at WR but like most things on the edge if they don't have the trenches worked out it just won't matter.

His best chance of breaking out next season is if he loses his tube of pro activ solution... If the Jets weren't going to go all the way in for Manning, they should've left the situation alone. No reason to drag Mark through the mud anymore than he already has been.
They did leave the situation alone. The only thing that happened was random media articles and people on twitter speculating, or fans creating drama over what somebody didn't say in an interview. It's been silly since day one, we were never considering it. Obviously we'll consider options, but nothing really happened.
Please don't be this type of poster. I agree. The Jets are polarizing right now after the recent debacles and the media is looking for any reason to keep any bad press relevant.
