Why the JETS are a Serious Contender

    ~lets see a win over a decent team already.
    ~On the road.
    ~In bad weather.
    ~Wearing green and white.
    ~..on a weekend when Brett Favre wasn't served his usual bacon and tomato omlette at the team hotel...
    ~in the playoffs

    I have had season tix for 43 years and I am enjoying this season so far. I have been through to many seasons to make any predictions now. If we stay healthy and continue to improve on both sides of the ball we certainly will be in playoff contention come December. All you can ask for as a fan is that your team gives you a good ride into December and from there it is up to fate. Don't forget when the Jets were 10-1 and they showed Joe Walton on the back cover of the Daily News holding the Super Bowl trophy in 1986! Keep the faith and enjoy the ride. Jetmike Sec 228

    We're contenders. It's not like there's any team thats *that* good anyway.

    These problems were the fault of the FO. I want Clinkscales as GM and Kiffin as coach.
