Back on topic, yes I agree 100% I would absolutely trade up to get either guy right now but it appears Winston is going to TB. Which is ok, I prefer Mariota. And I'm writing McGags, Bowles and Woody a letter on Monday imploring them to trade up. And the way this team is now built and how Bowles will likely always have a stout defense, this is the perfect year to try and get that piece that's been missing for decades. _
Sean Mannion is the most pro ready QB who the Jets can get with the 104th pick (pick based on compensation given out to teams.) He is not mobile and doesn't have a huge cannon either, but he reminds me a lot of Glennon who the Jets should have drafted or traded for. Yu all know I think Glennon is better than what we have with no love loss for Smith or Fitz. Glennon has appeared in 19 games, and has 4,025 yards, 29 TDs to only 15 Ints and 4 fumbles. Would you not be happy with that output from your QB? Fitzpatrick has 123 TDs, to 101 Ints and 54 fumbles. I want a QB that doesn't turn the ball over and can create more TDs than turnovers.
No, I prefer Mariota over Winston, personal preference. Winston is a great prospect, as is Mariota. I'm just not saying Mariota right now is better than Winston. _
