I think we have a good mix right now of small, medium, large and extra large with McKnight, Powell, Greene, Ganaway/Conner/Tebow. Sure they don't have a lot of production and experience but I think a cheap young RB crew makes sense in many situations like this. I am not sure what Grant would add. I am not sure exactly what a previous great like LDT added the last two years. Would Grant do more or less, bigger role or smaller role than LDT? Either way, I give a thumbs down.

The Jets have Tim Tebow. You can never get enough of him. Thats all they need.

Best part of this post is "shoon". Makes him sound worse than he actually is.

before you can ask "why not Ryan Grant?", you should probably answer "why Ryan Grant?" first.

Grant is a bit too old. I don't think he'd do all that much, to be honest.

How about Jerome Messam, cut by dolphins without ever getting a carry in the preseason. CFL MVP, and 1,000 yd rusher....worth a look/ at least a tryout.

Who are our "Bruisers"? Maybe Greene? Not powell.

And we do have the scat-back you mention; his name is Joe McKnight.

*If we were going to sign a RB this offseason we should have went with either Mike Freaking Tolbert (great fit here) or Benson (could have had him on the cheap like GB did). Who we have is who we will have....and I'm not overly impressed...

We don't have an effective scat-back. McKnight hasn't shown anything.

Our bruisers are easily Greene and Tebow (yep going there).
