He actually had 23 rushing and 32 passing that year. Kharma allowed him to break Walker's TD record against UGA on a 20+ yard td run.
Yeah, I know. He was the first 30/20. You said 30/30, which has never been done. Just correcting what was probably a typo.
Nothing about his quote implies they were in the same year. The Herschel Walker record was a career record. The "kharma" he's referring to is Walker's record being broken against the Dawgs. You know, the team Walker played for.
It seemed that way to me. And apparently, I didn't understand anything from the quote b/c it seemed like the poster was implying karma against Walker himself. I just thought it was an interesting coincidence and footnote that he set the record against UGA, not exactly karma.
I agree, because there is no such thing as kharma. It was more like irony. I think he was just searching for some concept to highlight the delicious tears of the Dawgs, because they are indeed delicious. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Love him or hate him, everyone has an opinion on Tim. And good or bad on Sundays you know Tim will keep the game entertaining. With that said the starting QB is Sanchez's job to lose
Let me explain myself a little better. UGA beat Fla like a bad stepchild for years. A man named Spurrier came along in 1990 and began to destroy Georgia and the hold they had on UF. Everyone knows Herschel Walker. Even gator fans agree he was unreal running the ball. Kharma was UF finally beating UGA to death and our fair haired boy breaking the record of the greatest RB we ever saw in our annual Worlds Largest Cocktail Party in Jacksonville fla. btw Tebow did have those TD running and passing in the same season. He was a monster that year. I think one game he had five rushing TDs and 3 passing TDs.
Yes, the first 30/20 involved passing and rushing TD's in the same season. That's the whole point of the record. Breaking Hershel Walker's career TD record did not take place that year (which was the other guy's point).
