You see a difference there; I don’t. Mahomes and Rogers have elite trait(s). I don’t believe Wilson possesses one elite trait. To me it’s an outrageous take. That’s the beauty opinions, we all have them and they don’t have to be the same.

I wasn’t talking about them but fans here in this forum.
Not talking about Simms and McShay but the fans here in this Forum. Does it really matter what he or she believes as long as we the fans want to see Jets start winning? You can do feel or what you want. You know a lot of football, more so than me and probably many here. Many here value your thoughts or inputs on the Jets and players. We all can learn from each other whether we agree or don’t disagree I am one of the Fields supporter guy since October and don’t think Wilson is the man but I know Jack shit whether Wilson can’t be the guy. We can all learn a little thing about everyone here. I just hope you do too.

I don’t think calling folks bitter and sad is respectful.

I got to give you props you’re relentless. I agree that remarks was taken a little too far especially folks when one expression his/her thoughts on a player simply because I am on the Fields wagon for a while however what I say or feel is meaningless because JD doesn’t care about what I think or say. I am going to trust him more than any if not all of us here because he has all of the data, scouts, reports than we do.

    Moving on....

What you say or feel is not meaningless. That’s the whole purpose of this outlet.

You my friend have no idea what your talking about. An elite RB is waaaaaaaaaaay more valuable and important to the development of a QB than a guard. It’s not even close. Guards are a dime a dozen and can be found at every level in the draft. Bell cow RBs that block, take hand offs, positioning on check downs, run routes and most importantly keeps the D honest. If a defence isn’t threatened by the run game they zero in on the QB and for a rookie that’s tough.

I am sure it has been mentioned but Chris Simms track record is pretty good when looking at College QB's.

Man oh man.. I would love for you to be right but I want a stud who touches the ball 17-20 times, who can run routes, can pass protect and threaten the defence so they don’t zero in on Wilson.

My part time job is talent agent. Please consider me if you are a self proclaimed draft guru and I will do my best to get you twitter and YouTube exposure. It may even lead to a interview with a real NFL team!!! You could be the next hot shot GM!

Is it an absolute requirement that your dad has a Super Bowl ring or can we bypass that?

How do you expect to get me the job and make your commission if you don't understand the job requirements?

Let's see...that translates into 3 D-Linemen, 2 linebackers, 1 corner, 1 safety, 1 FG kicker and a punt returner. THAT is how the NY Jets draft. That's how they HAVE drafted and that's how they WILL draft. This team is an unmitigated JOKE and they WILL destroy any QB coming in. That's just pure historical FACT. What a disgusting waste. Zach Wilson, who plays in a shit conference against shit competition, is going to get obliterated and in 2025 we will be back here again.

He's more of a 3rd down back. we also have ty, adams, coleman, and perine right now too. shanahans offense doesn't use a bell cow. they like to use 3 backs and keep them all fresh. Mostert revived his career on coming in for the 4th quarter fresh against tired defenses after coleman and bried and wilson jr wore them down.

I think we'll see a lot of ty and adams and coleman rotating. adding hawkins only makes it better. I don't like perine at all.

2 years ago I said the same about a mid-late round RB in tony pollard which was dismissed as we need an every down back and pollard has been awesome behind zeke with a 4.8YPC and 43 catches on 60 targets.
