I explained how it is situational. Sometimes you take what the defense gives you, sometimes you try something new. You can't exclusively do one or the other. Every down is its own down. If the QB play was better, the box wouldn't be stacked so often. You have to expect Geno to complete passes with single coverage. When they start respecting the pass again, it opens the run back up. There's really not that much more I can say about that. Rex is not at fault. Poor QB play is. Your entire premise is nonsensical.
