It's not that Greene is hated by Schotty. Schotty is too incompetent to create plays for playmakers and establish an effective gameplan against an opponent.
he hates him because he fumbles too much and he cant catch a cold. the stat about LT fumbling just the same is skewed. he fumbled last night but that wasnt his fault and he was on top of it- thats what his are like. Greene fumbles in the most painful of fashion and we always seem to lose the ball. mostly though, Greene will never be a teams exclusive runningback because he offers so little in the passing game. Its a liability. When he is in, they know its a run because he cant catch or block. Personally I think Schotty gets a bad rap on this board. He is better than most O-Coordinators in the league (Would you want Martz with this offense?) Last night was a aberration for the whole team and coaching staff
Great post! This is EXACTLY how he's calling every freakin' game! Why come out and run on the Pats...that's jsut what they're expecting! Tricked 'em, huh? Funny how everyone knows what the Pats O will do every week (short stuff to WRs and TEs) and it continues to work because they just do it well. We run really well (and it would keep Brady off the field), and Mark can throw (to his TE even) when not making a zillion pre-snap changes from under center, but why keep doing that?!? Open in the shotgun with no huddle! Mark can change into Peyton on a week's notice, can't he?
