They looked like crap. Nice pick from Marcus even though it was a terrible pass. Not really seeing all the positive training camp bs showing in a game setting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Those Idzik draft classes may set us back years. It takes a long time to recover when you literally get nothing out of 2 classes. The only projected week 1 starter is Pryor and he may be the worst safety I have ever seen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hiring Idzik might have been the worst decision we've made post parcels era. He's certainly the worst GM I've ever seen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, this is disappointing. So far, a defense that can't tackle (except revis), receivers who can't catch, some dumb penalties (Maudlin) and a rb that fumbles inside your own 20 yard line. The offense also continues to be unimpressive (although a lot of that could be Bryce Petty being nowhere near ready for the NFL), but the running game without their starting RB is also unimpressive. I understand that they're learning new offensive and defensive systems and that this is the first preseason game, but this team needs a lot of work.
I don't think it's that big a deal, if anything it'll get them off their high horse because the Defense is so good on paper.
Preseason football is about fundamentals. I'm seeing a lot of piss poor tackling and offensive line play. I'm concerned about the practice integrity.
How do you actually learn anything about any of the players from watering down the playbook THIS much though?
Poor showing but it is preseason week 1. I don't even want to imagine this season if the D is a bust, don't even want to imagine it....
Yes, basic technique is not being executed. Namely, tackling basics. It's not unreasonable to be concerned about a new coaching staff's practice regiment. Especially when you consider recent events.
Exactly. With a locker room that allows it's starting QB to get jumped, and now this dog shit showing, how can a Jet fan not be concerned? I know it's early. But so far not so good.
