And the next hit-n-shed or non-blown coverage would be the first of Barton's. Who cares? At least Hobson didn't get blown off the line on every play and he knew how to tackle. We're paying this older shmuck $2.2 million and we won't take back Hobson? It's confusing.
I'm a Wolverines fan and have been for nearly as long as I've been a Jets fan. Hobson was just a system player at Michigan who looked better than he was because that's what that defensive scheme does: it makes linebackers look good and defensive linemen do the hard work for few visible results. I was aghast when the Jets used a 2nd round pick on Hobson because I saw him as a 5th round guy or worse.
Dude, we're on an internet message board. What's with the sensitivity? (That guy tried to tell me I was wrong...and as you should know, I am NEVER wrong.)
Fighting on a message board is like the Special Olympics: even if you win, you're still a retard. -Nu'u
I agree, no one has signed him yet, there may be no interest. Though I could see the Pats signing him just for spite. He could come back alot cheaper.
Hobson isn't a great-player, but I'm surprised there isn't one team out there who would sign him. Not even an AFC East rival was willing to sign him to get info on the Jets. He must be worse than we saw on game-days.
You are well informed, but its this competition in your head that makes no sense. We debate here, not try to "beat" each other at expressing our opinions.
