Sucks for Connor. Tanny was just about to give him a 3yr $18M fully guaranteed extension.

Not sure if you or someone else came up with that nickname for Tommy, but it is perfect.

This +1. Conner was a Rex pick all the way. And I thought we were going to pick Reshad Jones S from Georgia who ended up going to Miami.

But it was said elsewhere in the thread perfectly. The arrogance to think we had a luxury pick to use on a FB when such other position pressing needs were screaming out. Taking a FB appropriately in the 7th round - like we did this year & albeit picking a good FB is one of the many things that makes me hopeful about Idzik going forward.

Tannenbaum's single worst flaw was in his lack of respect for draft picks being what Idzik properly called precious assets.

He constantly traded up or traded away picks leaving the Jets with fewer than the alloted 7 picks every year (see Sanchez, Greene, Tebow, others) and then to make matters worse, handed out his few remaining picks to the coaches like trinkets and Crackerjacks prizes...

"Fourth round...this one is yours, Rex....fifth and sixth..those are yours Westy"

    Larry Centers
    Daryl Johnston...

    Brad Baxter
    Richie Anderson

All different but they were utilized in the schemes.

AORN, FB is not even in 2% of the playbook ..

That said, "He'll be bach"... wah wah wah
