Junc Im still too retarded to quote only part of the quote...your last part though about moving the ball and then shooting ourselves in the foot....thats the problem with our offense! BECAUSE OF YOUR BOYFRIEND CHAD. since we can only move the ball 3 yards at a time, it takes us 49 plays to score. something is bound to happen if you have to run that many plays.

That could be a valid point but you saw us go right down the field on our TRD drives when we din't shoot ourselves in the foot. In the first half Chad's teammates killed us whther it was committing dumb penalties, bad playcalls or missing an easy FG. That just wasn't on Chad, if we had a normal penalty week we win that game.

ahh good ole nyjunc, i figured you would have left with herm, after all we had to deal with 2 years of you defending him.

now i see you are going to do the same with chad, the hot topic of the year thus far (not that i think he is bad or needs to be replaced)

it is quite obvious after watching you post for the past 4 or 5 years that as has been pointed out a couple times in this thread you are just looking for an argument.

While I do love to argue I do so based on facts, I don't follow the crowd like most of you. The facts backed up Herm, the facts back up Cha but don't let silly, little facts get in the way of a good argument.

The crowd on every Jets message board has overwhelmingly supported Chad. Every poll has supported Chad. Even when Clemens got a shot to play and people actually saw what another more talented QB could do the votes were about even. What is finally happening is people have witnessed a small sample of what a talented QB can bring to the team and the more they are subjected to Check down Chad the more they want change. The crowd is not a crowd at all it's individual fans seeing what's in front of them.

The posters are against Chad, the fans ar against Chad which is why Clemens received such a loud cheer when Chad got hurt. This is picking up steam the way the Herm blam pickd up steam. Herm is gone, we need a new scapegoat so the irrational posters now pick on Chad. Question: how did we win w/ Chad AND Herm?

We had excellent talent and a large % of NFL teams make the playoffs. We didn't win at any kind of prolific rate with either Herm or Chad and Chad isn't the same QB he was since his injury in 04. Chad was a far better QB than he was since his surgery post 04. The guy was a top NFL QB prior to his surgery. He is a shell of that now.

Herm had excellent talent, most of it on the team prior to his arrival and he got 9 or 10 wins 3 times. As soon as the talent ran out Herm was on the phone trying to save his ass. I give him credit for understanding he couldn't win with this Jets team, I thought he was an awful game day coach.

The fact that he bailed out on the Jets prior to the 05 season by actively pursueing another job while still under contract with the Jets "proves" that he wasn't worthy of being the Jets HC.

Excellent talent that made ONE postseason before Herm and 2 before Chad while we made 3 w/ herm and 3 more w/ Chad.

Your last paragraph I can agre w/ but you underestimate whathe did here and we are seeing that now. You guys used herm as the scapegoat and now are using Chad as the scapegoat, after Chad is gone there will be another.

Yes the talent was excellent when your QB goes down in game 1 the owner dies the HC leaves you have issues. In spite of that Herm inherited 3 No. 1 draft picks and a slew of outstanding young players who allready had experience along with a nice veteran talent mix to jump start his HC debut.

He inheritd 4 #1's, one that was hurt all the time, a TE that was the wrong pick, a DE that showed up every few years and a good QB that needed to be developed.

Where was this slew of outstanding young talent outside of the '00 draft? Fabini, thomas, Ferguson, farrior(disappoiting #1 pick, only good year was in Herm's system)- that's it. Other than tha he was left aging vets like Vinny, wayne, Mawae, Jumbo, Curtis, lenn, Green, Jones, Mo, etc...

and let's not forget all that "experience" they had was ONE postseason. One thing you guys forget was that if we were half as talented s you think we were there's no way 3 coaches walk out on us especially 3 coaches that know how diffiult it is to win in this league.

Herm also inherited a team that choked away the playoffs the yar before so that was reall the experience he was inheriting, '98 was 3 years previous and they weren't winners when herm took over.

Herm got Randy Thomas after starting 2 seasons, Coles, Becht, Abraham, Ellis, Coles and Pennington all in there second season. Abe started all 16 games in Herms first and second season and he had 13 sacks in Herms first season. Becht was an outright stud as a blocking TE he was better than Brady they guy he replaced.

Brady and becht were equal as blockers. Herm had some young talent he had to develop(which he did) but he also inherited a cap mess and a team mostly full over older, expensive players.
