Koz called it and I seconded that exact same thought.

I knew he would "show up" but never actually meet up with anybody. That's almost as good as a no-show, no matter which way you try to slice it Paco.

looks like jd just took this from the "what the hell happened" stage....to the "it's your fault" stage.

I may have to clear my schedule for the rest of the day and plant my virtual "lawn chair" in this thread.

In the K?bler-Ross Grief Cycle, the stages in order are: Shock, Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Testing, Acceptance.

    Bargaining

After the painful stage of anger, the person in grief gets frustrated and may start blaming others. Although this blame is not correct, he is not in a state to understand and accept the reality. This stage is called bargaining. In this stage, the person starts bargaining for the loss and tries to find out ways in which he can revert the situation and compensate for what he has lost.

JoannyD was biting the pillow last night, and sitting on it this morning...

JoannyD is our Jeff Spicoli. A man with grand ambitions and dreams who simply can't follow through.

    Disappointed, yes. Surprised, no.....

I wonder whether we should even bother inviting him to our next Bash later in the year.

Jetsbabe, you were talking to me but i had you on speaker phone.

Im the fuckin victim here. I hadnt eaten in hours. I was cold. I was thirsty. And alone. I should have left earlier, no doubt. Murrel says he couldnt hear me. I couldnt hear him. Then I smelled the hot pretzels. i veered off towards the toasty, bready treats. Then I called again and no one answered. I thinkyou people could see me and were laughing. I had no jacket. I had no hat. I will be at the next bash! No doubt! :O

I got everything together early, had to take my daugher to a birthday party that broke up around 4:30. Got down there and had to throw paper and tons of lighter fluid in the grill to get it going. Got it going, though, once we started drinking it wasn't bad.
