Wayne and Barber Felix Jones isn't taking GL carries away from Barber, Ray Rice may do that to McGahee. As Harrison gets older, Wayne establishes himself as a top WR This is a no-brainer for me.
I wouldn't keep Jamal Lewis either, but he hasn't fallin off. He rushed for 1300 yards and had 11 total TDs in 2007. The Browns are a playoff caliber team, so Lewis could be a very valuable fantasy back. Colston is a top 10 receiver. 98 catches for 1200 yards and 11 TDs puts him in the top 10, but he stil isn't a keeper. He's more valuable than Torry Holt now. Marion Barber will share time, but he won't share carries inside of the redzone. He should get at least 15-20 TDs in 2008. QBs are a dime a dozen. Wayne has already established himself as a top wide receiver, so he is a potential keeper, but in basic scoring leagues, running backs are way too important. Ray Rice isn't going to take ANYTHING from Willis McGahee. I know a lot of your guys are fans of Rice, but McGahee is the guy in Baltimore, and unless he gets hurt, he's going to get all of the carries. Felix Jones could be valuable in point per reception leagues...
Barber is a TD Machine, Mr. Electric. He's gotten 24 the past two seasons on under 350 carries. Felix Jones is a rookie, not as good as Julius Jones, which means more carries and more points for Barber. Barber is a goal line machine, who even has had more receptions than McGahee over the past few years. McGahee is a great running back, but he's been a workhouse for four years now. However, the only time he's had more TDs in a season than Barber over his past two seasons was 4 years ago. Ray Rice was drafted to spell McGahee and he is a tough physical runner who WILL take GL carries from McGahee. Barber is the better pick. Not the better player, but a better pick.
Not a big fan of any of your RB's except Barber who IMO isn't worth keeping. Romo always faulters at the end. Colston and Wayne will be top 10 WR's for the next decade atleast.
On a side note: I've had Marion Barber in one of my leagues every year of his career. This year will probably be the first year I don't get him. He had 14 touchdowns 2 years ago and last year I then got him in the 20th round. (tho only a 6 team league) People have finally realized the TD machine he is... So now I just don't wanna spend a 1st or 2nd round pick on him. He had 12 total TD's last year which is sweet and all but he's a boom or bust type of player from week to week. Lots of weeks he'll get you a touchdown and 90 yards but lots of the time he'll have 30 yards and no scores. I want to aim for more consistant RB's than off and on Barber. (Tho I still am a fan of his nevertheless)
