So 6-5 win over Canada, but we now trail Venezuela, 3-2. 6th inning.

lol, we ended up simply MURKIN venezuela by like 9 or 10 runs!

Call me crazy, but this team from the US of A really has a chance to bring the championshp back where it belongs...The United States of America

Our pitching may not be the VERY best but we have a lineup that has the potential to be 2nd to none

You know what? The Rays are so young and exciting they are going to win this without even playing in it.

China, Taipei, Panama, Canada, and South Africa now eliminated.

South Korea wins Pool A. Japan is runner-up. Both advance to round 2.

The US and Puerto Rico will also advance to round 2.

    Winner of Dominican Republic/Netherlands advances.

Netherlands beat them once, but I doubt they can do it again.

    Cuba
    Mexico
    US
    Venezuela
    Puerto Rico
    Netherlands
    Japan
    South Korea

were the ones that went to Round 2.

Japan beat Cuba in Pool 1

Venezula beat the Netherlands in Pool 2

Puerto Rico beat the US in Pool 2

USA now plays the Netherlands and then if they won, would play the loser of the Venezuela-Puerto Rico game.

I was at the Japan game and Dice- K looked awesome. He absolutely dominates these guys. In 3 starts he is 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA. Ollie Perez now pitching for Mexico against Korea. Hopefully he does well and gets out of the game early. I'll be at the championship game next Monday and I will expect to see Japan or Korea there.
